The showroom claims that every ornament is hallmarked by BIS
Khazana Jewellery launched an exclusive store on the Temple Street here on Wednesday(12-Mar-2008).
It was the first jewellery showroom in Kakinada where each and every ornament is hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
Film actress Ileana D Cruz inaugurated the showroom by lighting a lamp. On the occasion, Ms. Ileana said she was privileged to be a part of the inaugural of the Khazana store and hoped that it would perfectly fit for the Kakinada market where quality and appearance play an important role in the buyers’ decision making process.
Unique feature
Khazana Jewellery managing director Kishore Jain said Khazana was the first in India to introduce a photo-guarantee card which ensures that the customers do not lose even a single rupee in gold value while selling or melting the ornament. The Rs. 1,000-crore company, Khazana has own designers and manufacturing units at Chennai, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Rajkot.
While the gold jewellery is hallmarked by the BIS, the diamonds are certified by the International Gemmological Institute, Belgium. Diamond jewellery is available at Khazana from Rs. 3,500 onwards.
